The Best Go-Kart Tracks in San Francisco (2026)
This list ranks the top go-kart tracks serving the San Francisco area, using Google review data and an updated analysis in 2026. We calculate a Bayesian-style score that balances average rating with the number of reviews so smaller but highly rated listings don’t automatically outrank better-reviewed venues. The Bay Area offers a range of options for casual racers, group outings, and competitive sessions, and many visitors prioritize proximity and booking flexibility when deciding where to go. Below are data-driven picks drawn from current Google listings, with concise notes to help you compare by rating, review volume, and location.
This ranking is computed from Google reviews (our method). Listings marked Partner are paid advertising spots: they sit alongside the ranking without changing its order.

Frequently asked questions
How should I choose between different go-kart tracks?
Compare Google ratings and review counts to get a sense of consistent quality and popularity, and consider location, session length, and whether the track takes reservations. Also check age, height, and licensing requirements listed by the venue to make sure the facility fits your group’s needs.
What typically affects the cost of a go-kart session?
Price is usually influenced by session length, the type of kart or race format, time of day, and any group or party packages. Check the track’s official site or call ahead for exact pricing and available discounts rather than relying solely on third-party listings.
What should I confirm before booking a private event or group outing?
Ask about capacity, booking minimums, inclusions (helmets, instruction, lap timing), and cancellation or rescheduling policies. It’s also wise to confirm safety requirements like minimum height, required waivers, and whether spectators are allowed.
How is this ranking built and why does review count matter?
This ranking uses Google review ratings and review totals, combined with a Bayesian-style weighting that balances average score with the number of reviews. That approach reduces random variance from very small sample sizes while still rewarding consistently high-rated venues.
